    OEM Alarm LED Voltage

    Gotta new alarm on order and i want to get a Alarm Hazard warning switch and splice it into the alarms LED wire! Can anyone tell me the Voltage of the standard wire?

    I believe the orgional one works at 12volts as it has a resistor built into it

    12v I think.

    From what I remember from fitting a blue one to Laura's car I think I had to change the resister.

    Can you not measure the voltage on the wire?

    If you know what colour wires I can measure my Astra one as mine is easy to get too

    sorry boys not got a volt meter and dont know what colour the cables are as mine hasnt got an alarm fitted as standard

    Im looking at gettin the Switch and little block thing behind it then on the recieving block the it plugs into wiring the alarms led wires to that if that makes sense!

    Lee did u change the oem alarm light for a blue LED?

    Lee - any chance you could check the voltage between the marked pins they are the ones which power the alarm LED cheers
