    psi boost?

    fired my zlet gsi up today after a few months off the road and have recently fitted a boost gauge....
    the boost gauge is reading between -10 and -15 on idle....
    ive had a look for other threads but cant find anything although i no i have seen the post in the past....
    what should my boost gauge be reading on idle a s i thought it should be around -20psi??

    yes shud be -18 hg or -20 hg mate not sure whats wrong there..what boost gauge u got? is it a cheapy one?

    0.7bar is what they should idle at when in Vac

    mine was idleing about the same untill i took my dump valve of (leaking) now its reading spot on

    is an autometer gauge so ther usually prettty good....maybe theres a problem with the vac line to boost gauge

    mines the same guage as yours, what dump valve do you have? try blanking it of to see if it reads any difference.

    have removed oe dump valve and replaced with forge diverter valve...
    have bypassed rear bcs too.....do i need a one way valve going to the diverter valve??
    i have boost gauge connected to the line between intake and fpr....

    im running both orig and after market valves and found out it was the after market 1 that was leaking. my gauge is running from the same place as yours with all vac hoses changed to 4mm. mabe one of the hoses are lose/leaking or kinked

    i have 4 mates with z20lets and they all sit at at -18 to -20 so check the vacum as u sed mate..ur gauage shud be fine. sum cheapey ones read crap imo
