    Z22SE over 165BHP - HOW?

Just looking for some info guys...

has any one got their 2.2 above 165bhp and how did you do it?

I'm running at 165 but now I think some serious mods are required to get it up a bit. ie big throttle body or cams???

Currently s/s exhaust (cats out), panel filter, air box mod, and a remap. I think cams are getting serious.

My last Astra was a 2.2 and that was tested at just short of 160 BHP on the rollers, was mapped, pre cat removed, cat back exhaust system and a panel filter. The re mapper did get it to 167 BHP but he said the emgine what like that fueling or something.. There was also a zaf there on the rolling road day that ran 200 BHP, head over to www.z22se.co.uk

Couple of examples, of which you can get cheaper if you have a look around...

    2.4 inlet manifold ...

    4 branch manifold ...

and then to get 'serious'... supercharge...

Take it to a dodgy RR.

2.2 bhp RR results fluctuate more than a woman's emotions during her period!
