    Right Nooby Question

Rite as most are aware Ive just joined the Turbo groupies but I am a rite novice to say the least and I am just wondering/curious but because my engine has a VXR bit on it is this just because someone has previously changed it or does this strip on top of engine signify what type of engine I have or what...... Yes I am rather embarrased asking this but I honestly dont have clue.

All I heard was the word turbo and brought it so any more info on what type of engine this is or anything really would be great

9 times out of ten some one has just put it on cos they think it looks better saying VXR.

I would say it standard ZLET seeing as it has still got the standard air scoop

It is just a coil pack/sparkplug cover there are other kinds available like the opc one or carbon fibre ones, once you have disconnected the multiplug on the right hand side it just slides off to the right
    197.2 h.p and 230lbs,not bad for standard

Glacious - welcome to the turbo experience, save that picture of your engine bay

because once you have read a few threads you will be under the bonnet removing bits / adding bits.

and more importantly - taking photos and posting them up for us all to see

one last thing - having fun whilst doing it all

what are your plans, what are you hoping to achieve ?

I dont no really in terms of what I want to do as ive heard so many things about remapping and stage 1 this and stage 2 this and its all jibberish to me lol

I guess de-restircting the airbox and veccy C intake maybe again not sure as Ive never really done anything to an engine before.

I guess I want as much speed as possible but without making it drink fuel, and to do that Hmmm not a clue but I am sure after reading this forum abit more should give me some ideas.

I think the first thing is a turbo timer I get so impatient sitting waiting for a min or so after along drive.
