spark plug gaps and torque settings.

hello there. as some of you may know ive been havings issues with my astra gsi for a while now.

i just want to check that my sparks plugs are gapped and torqued down correctly.

so doesnt anybody know what gap i should have on the Ngk irridiums from courtney sport. i think there Bkr 6's ??? i heard 0.68 mentioned the other day?

and secondly what should i be setting the torque wrench too?

thanks for any replies i get

on your spark plugs mate. they have a set gap and if its not right it affects performance.

are the ones courtney sell the bkr 7's?? im confused ill just check them all if they all match then im guessing there all ok.

will the spark plug torque settings be in my owners manual?

you need a plug gap tool thingy, and is between the tip and electrode.

you can do em ya self, just dont go OTT and snap em or go too far!

right my car is now im bits ive gap checked all the plugs and they are 0.8 so thats good enough for me. ill look into the bkr7's dan thnx. they have a white colouration to them ive been told this means its running too hot?? anyway of fixing this to get the mixture just right. maybe this could be down to the fault ive been having.

i still need to know what to torque them down to. i cnt find it anywhere.
