    Cool VXR Turbo on Zaf - BIG Thanks!

    Firstly, a HUGE thank you to Phil (300bhpzafira) for supplying me with the unit at a good price!

    Secondly, an even bigger thanks to Kyle (nyzrox) for comin over and helping me out!

    As of a short while ago, got my car back down off the ramps with a fresh, shiney new VXR turbo on it! let it come up to temp and took it for a little thrash to test the difference and my word, seems torquey as hell! so, after givin it some, started headin home when some kid on an R1 comes up behind me, so whats a guy to do but floor it! 1/2 a mile later he's still behind me all be it further away, then he sits upright and gives up! Unlucky!!!!

    not a hard job to do, 4 hours, one thing i will say is make sure you have a selection of tools to hand!

    yeah, pretty sure it woulnd't have been one of the fastest 0-60 production bikes ever made lol

    maybe a 125 replica

    Lol I'm sure the zaf feels better now mate but think you might be mistaking just how quick it is...

    A ferrari would have trouble keeping up with a properly lauched R1

    Maybe he was too busy laughing to twist the throttle.

    Sorry dan but im sure the vxr turbo is fine but your car will be running the same power as it was b4 due to same map in the ecu. Its like when you wash and polish your car it feels different.

    i rang you this morning you said you was nearly done wont stay shiney for long

    Manifold gasket.
    All new copper washers on Oil pipes and water pipes.

    For some reason, Dans precat seals to the turbo without a gasket!

    We wasnt done, we had the original turbo off but couldnt get the ****ing nut out the VXR turbo go change the pipes over.

    An we had to take a break and make a new clamp for the precat pipe as the original is a shit design.

    So dans rocking a Custom Kyles clamp.

    Rumour has it theres only 2 in the world, ones on my GSi
