    18 year olds birthday dilemma...

After seeing Sami's post about Toni being 18 today, my eldest is 18 in November, and nobody has any idea what to get him.

    Background info:

He is mildly autistic, hates crowds and new places. He gets very agitated if theres more than two people walking towards him, he used to walk looking at the ground, in the hope that he wouldn't be seen...he still does it to an extent, but not as bad as he did.

He lives for his XBOX360, he will get every new fighting/strategic game that comes out, completes it very quickly, then trades the game in for either credit in store, or another game (that hes prolly owned at least twice before)

He has no other interests, he has no desire to learn to drive, he's not interested in cars/bikes in the slightest.

The thought of going into a pub full of people to get drunk fills him with horror, I think I've seen him tipsy once when he was about 16, he hasn't really drunk since. He actually went out with some friends from his college course to the cinema today, and that maybe happens twice a year? He just stays in his room when he's not at college, playing on either the XBOX or very rarely, on his PS3.

Now it's his 18th in November, and I don't want to get him games that I know he will trade in, I need an idea for something he can keep and remember that it was for his 18th.

Any ideas ladies and gents? I know it's not the easiest of tasks...but any help would be fab

I got Toni something she really wanted.. a laptop.

Has he hinted at all to something big he would love to have, or does he collect anything as you could enlarge his collection??

I got a rotary watch from my dad on my 18th, he claims its a family thing. He got one off his dad when he was 18, and he still has it.

Ronny, judging from what Mel said, I dont really think that would be his thing.

A watch is a good idea, I got a rotary one for my 18th too

The watch is a nice idea, but he would probably lose it lol

Hes no good at pain, has a really low pain threshold, but the paintballing has got me thinking......we have got a lazer run place near here that I think you can hire the whole arena

    *goes to check*

Oh, and hes got a big TV thing on his wall that his dad bought him last christmas, Rory, the getting laid thing happened when he was 14 so Ive been told, couldn't have been that good because I dont think its happened since lol
