That's bad news Kirsty, I'll keep an eye out down here. More so for the shell in the scrap yard, if its been stolen to be stripped etc
Probably the ONLY Astra Mk3 sitting on Corsa D SXI rims!
And Now a Diesel on Discs all round!

no news yet, although another member on his forum chased a similar one up the M23 the other day he says, but different plates so he reckoned not the right one. It has since been pointed out to him that it might well have been because the first thing they'll have done is change the plates, so hope he made a note of the reg!

Will let you know if it gets found, but until then keep your eyes peeled, thanks for the cross posting Keif, the owner says cheers for everyone's help.

chances the cossie will be seen again is slim, doubt it will become a ringer as it will be easier to shift as parts. If it hasnt been found burnt out by now it will have been well stripped

Those cozzies will still give the modern police a good run for their money on the motorways, im in the south east but obviously ill keep an eye out. They wud prolly head far away with it, so Geordie bandit shud start looking in the highlands, as hes nearest, ill start looking in cornwall, cos im nearest there

and we can all meet in the middle

alternatively, travel every single road in the uk on google street map

Here's the latest development on this from RetroRides:

    --------------------------------------------------

Spotted at 9:45am this morning, Shiney Red cossy on a plant trailer heading through RUSTON SPENCER towards MACCLESFIELD being towed by a Green Nissan 4x4 reg Number Y557 KCP. Vehicle details from dvla

    The enquiry is complete

The vehicle details for Y557 KCP are:

    Date of Liability 01 09 2010
    Date of First Registration 01 03 2001
    Year of Manufacture 2001
    Cylinder Capacity (cc) 998CC
    CO2 Emissions 149g/Km
    Fuel Type Petrol
    Export Marker Not Applicable
    Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
    Vehicle Colour GREEN
    Vehicle Type Approval M1
The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry.
Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle
    6 Months Rate £68.75
    12 Months Rate £125.00

Plates on the sapph were E registered but the car was identical to your pictures and the plates did not "suit" the car.... I smelt BBQ'd rat.

    -----------------------------------------------

Might be something, might be nothing.

Duff could you give your work colleagues a heads up on this as there are suggestions it may be heading over to Ireland as it was heading in the right direction for the ports? Cheers
