    Which Shaver?!?

    http://www.shavers.co.uk/shopping.php?product_id=731 - Braun 2838 Cruzer4 Body & Face Shaver

    Or

    http://www.shavers.co.uk/shopping.php?product_id=875 - Philips Philishave TT2030 Bodygroom Shaver

Now I've had a Cruzer 3 for the last 2 years and its finally packed up on me.

I very rarely, once or twice a year, have a close shave wet or dry as it leaves me with a shitty rash. I think I used the foil on the Cruzer 3 about 4 times from new.

I mostly use the trimming part and leave about 0.5mm -1mm of stubble on.

My question is does anybody have any of the above and would you recommend them??

    Ladies or Gentleman....?!?

I have to shave every day I'm at work too and mostly wet shave, although I do use my electric a couple of times a week. It's a 5 year old Braun one, the first one they brought out with the cleaning system!!

Most of the time it's Nivea shave gel and a gillette fusion.

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

I go fusion once or twice a week, not bother with powered one though. IMO there is a big diff over the mach3, I was sceptical when I bought a trial pack, but it really is much better and I am a shaving wimp.

I did have a Which subscription a while back and they recommended the Panasonic shavers, bit like this... you can get cheap ones in the range though.

What ever happens dont get one of these, they are bloody awful and very expensive

I used to wet shave then went to electric (a different one to the above) due to shaving rash/burn but after buying the above and getting totally annoyed with it, I started wet shaving again. In a way its done me good because I now have a wet shaving regime that works for me

If you do get shaving rash one of the best things to do is stay well clear of 3/4/5 blade razors I did a lot of research into it after being totally ripped off with the above electric one.

Same here regarding the rash and using the trimming part instead!

I just bought a cheapish phillips one from Argos, think it cost about £50

It looks better with a bit of stubble left over anyway!
