    no boost intermittant

    i was out in my car last night and it was fine but went in for 10 mins came out the car boosted then wouldn boost . Boost gauge stayed at zero but would boost high up the revs then would boost at all but sometimes would ! Any ideas peeps

    vacuum leak mate sounds like...the boost gauge should be like -22 / -25 when on idle...

    it goes down to minus on gauge but when you throttle it stays at zero !

    check the acyuator rod, it should sit back, if its extended then it could have stuck open.... get a hammer and lightly tap on the end of the rod so your hitting from lower passenger side upto drivers side.....it should only need a few light taps. if it sticks out then i would guess the springs gone weak in the actuator and has fully extended under load....

    i can push the wastegate open by hand if i grab the rod and pull down !!
