    Warranty!

My car is know 7 years old and im thinking about getting a warranty policy with "Warranty Direct".
The premium is £25 a month and they seem to cover most things on my car so would like peoples opionings on extended warranties and if any good or bad experiences etc.

Read the terms and conditions as to whats not covered under wear & tear (on a 7 year old car 9-times out of 10 that will be their get out). For £300 a year, Id be wanting a blonde hooker on 24-hour call to go with it.

Put the money into a savings account each month. As Dave says, they'll use "wear & tear" to get out of most claims.

Yeah sounds like an idea. they actually state they cover some wear and tear but not clutch and brake pads etc.

I don't think warranties are worth the cash, on older cars like yours and mine (mine's 10 years old). Older cars are relatively simple and cheap to fix, so you're better off saving the cash. It's a different story on newish cars, because they can be VERY expensive to fix...

warranties aren't worth the paper their written on sometimes, if they can get out of a claim, they will do!
