Dude you need to upload your picture(s) to a hosting site such as tinypic.com or photobucket.com and then copy the link from there into the [IMG] tags.

the X16XEL (1.6 16v) engine you've got can be tuned a fair bit for a small block engine. Vauxhall "detuned" them from the factory as their power wasn't far off the GSi at the time, so with minimal mods you can see great gains.

There's a tuning guide on here somewhere, use the search button for it and you'll see that 160-170bhp is possible if you've the time, money, and effort to put in

if you just want cheap gains, then a mantzel-style powerbox (£100 secondhand) will give you a power hike from the standard 98bhp to around 115bhp, a freer-flowing cat & exhaust (or a decat but that'd fail the MOT), panel filter, larger air intake, and a bloody good service will give you 10-15bhp too.

my 1.6 16v was running 108.9 bhp with a decat, panel filter, enlarged air intake, and was regularly given a good service

very good engines for their size, probably the pick of the engines in the Mk3
    NOW - Sapphire Black 3dr Astra G

    THEN - Glacier White 2.0Di Estate - 136bhp 1.6 Pineapple Yellow Mk3 - Flame Red 2.0Di Van - Chianti Red 1.8 Coupe - Star Silver 2.2 Zafira - Flame Red 2.2 Linea Rossa Coupe - Titan Gold 1.8 Coupe

9 Years, 7 Astras, 1 Zafira, No Regrets.
