Not sure about dyeing it, I've had mine retrimmed in black Alcantara, really made good job of it too.

seen a few people do this
I had a go myself just before christmas
If your gna do the rooflining I'd recommended spraying the pillars to...

and yes you do need to take it all out.

i did mine not so long back(re-trimmed) and i've been plagued by bubbles in the headlining ever since, maybe best to get one out of a scrapper and do it.

Use copydex - smells aweful for the 1st week but your covering fabric wont move a single inch after its dried. Did my old one on my corsa and looked immense!

You need to use upholstery contact adhesive.
Spray/paint it on the headcloth & rear of covering, let it go touch dry, then apply the covering a section at a time carefully stretching it & smoothing down into place.

First time i did it i used spray glue. Just melted in the heat of the summer and fell down. Probably a cheaper version of what SQ Man says to use.

    Copydex worked brilliantly though.

    You have to:

Remove the sunvisors and grab handles (clips and screws that you should be able to see)

Pullthe trim panels from all around the car (A pillars, b pillars and rear quarts) these are held in by plastic lugs that should pop out fairly easily. If any break you can get them from Vauxhall cheap enough.

Make sure the rubber door seals aren't holding the roof lining in and it should just pop out.

You will need to fold some seats down and maybe take headrests off to get it out of the boot.
