    Dash lights went batshit tonight!

After being laid up for a few weeks, I took my Coupe out for a run tonight to drop off girlfriend_L.

The car drove perfectly, however, when I was driving home, the spanner light and esp light came on and stayed on. No problem I thought, I'll just pull over into a car park, turn off and turn on again.

When I restarted the car, the spanner light went out, to be replaced by the emissions light, still accompanied by the esp light. After driving for a few minutes more, the esp light went out.

When I got home, I turned the car off and the ignition on again to position 2, pumped the brake pedal twice and the emossions light went out.

I'm not asking about why each light came on as i'll plug the car into my reader tomorrow, but whey would they all come on in that weird sequence? Could it be down to under-use of the car?

Could be your ECU just had a temporary brainfart. As you say, the codes should tell you a story of sorts
