    AFL M.O.T Fail

    Hi all
Took the twintop for its first M.O.T and 3rd service today.
Got a phone cal while at work to say that it had failed on the aim of the headlights (too high)
and it would cost me £40 to have it corrected.
The one thing I would have thought it would never fail on being self levelling
Questioned if its not covered by the warranty, and told its not, as its an ajustment.

Anyone else had problems with the AFL Headlights?

Picking the car up tomorrow, any comments to help me argue a none payment would be appreciated

Find your self another tester mate.

Anywhere i've ever used will sort that for nothing, £40 is a rip off.

Take it home and set it your self against a wall.

thats a rip off mate! A local garage to me, did Toms1989's for free, as one was pointing wrong. Try somewhere else, if i where you.
Probably the ONLY Astra Mk3 sitting on Corsa D SXI rims!
And Now a Diesel on Discs all round!

Surely if the AFL unit is malfunctioning causing the headlight aim to be wrong then that is not an adjustment it a faulty component isn't it?
So therefore should be covered by the warranty.
Balls 'll get you so far kid.......Then they'll just get you killed!
