    Relentless Energy Shot

Has anyone tried one of these? Saw them in the petrol station last night for £1.99

Excess caffeine has been linked to similar driving dangers as drugs or alcohol as far as I'm aware.

Well I don't know about dangerous as such, but they can give you a kick or "legal high", as they are formulated to stimulate the body.

The problem with these stimulations is that you have a rush and then a low period which would be worse than when you took it in the first place!

Then they can then become quite addictive because you always want to "top up" the stimulation.

Personally I have only tried any other energy drinks once (Red Bull) and I hated it, it almost immediately gave me the shakes and I could actually feel my pulse pumping faster.

Not good, I would now rather stick to products where I know all the ingredients and the effects those ingredients have on the body.

Driving around 'high' on caffeine is possibly as dangerous as driving around 'high' on any other drug. There's been something in the news recently on this and there is plenty on t'Internet about it too.

Asims money saving tip - If your in the market for red bull, try tesco's own brand called "Kick", its looks the same, tastes the same, and has the same effects, but its half the price, if not cheaper
