    Car Audio fitters

hey people, im new to this, so i apologise if im wrong. basically ive been given an Astra mk4. ive just recently passed, and i have a sound system on its way in few weeks for my birthday, however im struggling to find places to fit it! few friends said they can try and help but it involves taking door panels off etc, basically is there any place in leicester that does car audio fitting? basically its a 6x9,amp, sub and head unit.

    thanks people

A shop will charge quite a lot to fit that.

Its not hard to do it yourself, or if you ask on here i'm sure someone local would help you out.

    basically ive got a JVC KD-R301, JBL GT5-A604e 4-channel AMPLIFIER , JBL GT5-10, 10" subwoofer ,JBL GT5-963, 6"x9".

its an 02 plate, basically its an opel astra, got it imported, 5 door car.
ideally withen a year or so i want it totally pukka i.e alloys, body kit, spoiler, new interier, and few engine mods.
but first is to get the sound up to date, as i havent got back door speakers, only front door speakers!

Won't be hard to wire that lot up, do you have a wiring kit for it?

Only hard part would be fitting the 6x9's in the rear doors, would have been better off with normal speakers powered via the headunit and using the spare channels on the amp to power the front speakers (uprated ones)

No not really, just push clips and a few T20 torx screws. You will just need to cut and drill the door to fit the 6x9's into it, as the OE speaker hole is only going to be 13cm IIRC on a 5dr.

A few car audio shops in Leicester. Namely Car electronics just off welford road, Leicester car audio (on site in the Peugoet garage, Abby lane I think), Plush Automotive. They would all fit for you, unsure how much they would charge though.

if u were more local i wld do it
i wld get a mono amp 2 4 ur sub and use the 4 channel amp 2 drive the incar speakers
i would trade the 6x9s in 4 sum 13cm coxails 4 the rear doors
it will sound so much more better plus ur 6x9s will only be competing with the base from ur sub
do u have new front speakers on way 2 and what gauge wireing kit is comeing?
plus are ur new front speakers seprates?
