If carlsberg made exhaust setups for z18xes...

they might be better than mine

Just got my custom downpipe fitted

Lexmaul are absolute muppets, their downipe contains no flexible section. So if you have a race tube overtime the exhausts vibrate apart due to heat expansion!

The results are immediately great, its like having my car serviced, it just keeps on pulling till ** mph then it gets a bit slower then finally looses its legs. Usually I would have to keep it above 3k to do it.

Downpipe needs to bed in a bit but sounds top notch. Exhaust is popping maybe its running a bit rich or perhaps its that 200 cell sports cat.

Anyway heres a video, post comments. I am king.

It should be raspy as frig. I've now removed mine and got a standard cast iron minfold and steel downpipe and the difference is massive. It's noticeably slower and a lot quiter. Although the sluggishness could be dues to the enormous seats, rollcage, and ICE build i have fitted

    why did you remove it

I had to remove my temporarily due to the rattle as I thought the cat had collapsed at first and stick the standard manifold on.

it was so much slower, you could tap your fingers waiting to get to 6.5k rpm

manifold is a great mod, makes alot of difference but its too pricey.

i got mine cheap luckily. downpipe cost me £140 but still ended up with a bargain overall.

    is yours a z18xe or x18xe?

a sports cat will always help, reduces back pressure.

best way is a decat but that will fail emissions and you need to have your ecu fiddled with also.
