offsets vary from wheel to wheel and depend on rim width, diameter and ride height

are you lookin to buy new wheels?

If so what diameter and width are u looking at and more importantly how much are u lowered by?

a safe bet would be 40-49mm and could mean u can slam it as much at 70-80mm without problems

you can lower the offset to about 35mm if the rim isnt as wide and/or the car aint lowered as much etc etc

tell us exactly what ur after and we can advise as your initial question is a tad vaque

looking to get new alloys, just got standard sxi 10 spoke ones
em has been lowered quite a bit, bought raceland coilevers and there is like 10 threds left on front, not exactly sure.
was either looking for a 16/17's, not to sure yet, thinking Khans, irmcher softstar, or team dynamics 1.2's

    dont go 16"

they will look stupid and it will be a waste of money imo

17 or 18 is really the only way forward

17s give a little better comfort

stick with 7" or 7.5" wide and an offset of 45-49 if u can then u can slam it on its arse

if u dont plan on winding them fully down then 40+ should be ok but may experience problems if u do ever wind them right down - therefore if u can find them in 45+ offset then ur onto a winner

215/40/17 is the best tyre size too

I have in my astra 8" wide wheel in front with 35 offset and rear 9" wide with 40 offset. Car is lowered with coils more than 60mm from original. Tyre sizes 205/40-17 front and 215/40-17 rear. Tyres only rub a little(when drive a huge bump) with inner plastic fender. I recommend at least 7,5" wide wheels from astra and offset near 40.
