    cutting fog holes in the standard bumper ?

    basically i am starting to give up on hunting for a SXi bumper (with fogs one) so im loooking to but a standard one



    what im asking is how hard is it to cut the front fog holes out? i think there allready marked in there but iwanted to know how had there where to cut out !

    Its real easy mate, you're right, its all marked up for you. I wouldn't recommend a dremel, I found it a lot easier with a jigsaw and plastic cutting blade. Just gotta make a little hole to put the jigsaw blade through then follow the line on the back. You can see mine done in my gallery

    yh i saw u done urs m8 might get hte body shop to do when i have one sprayed! as i know i will defo **** it up !

    I thought the same thing when I was going to do mine, I was so scared of royally screwing up and needing a new bumper, but it really is easy, just make sure you've got some cushioning under your bumper (I didnt and now I have lovely scratches either side of the number plate!)

    can you only do it for those types of fogs? guessing it cant be made to look like the GSI? totally different bumper?

    I don't think the GSi fogs would fit in the holes, I think they're a different shape, its a pity cause they look great!

    what color is ur car m8?
    it would be eaiser 2 seek a bumper that has holes allready cut.
    my m8 tried cuting them n never looked rite as he cldnt get the fit 2 look factory , if that makes sence

    to fit gsi fogs surely you would just need to cut the holes a different shape (not following the markings)

    dont know how good it would look or whether you would need to create some brackets though

    Check out Demogorgons diary - He fitted some nice lights in his bumper which look similar to GSi ones.

    If you getting a bodyshop to paint it just get them to do the fogs mate

    to answer a few questions my car is velvet green on on the hardest colours to find ! and mike i will get to to cut it out as they have fitted my spoilet for an extra £10
