    Best panel filter?

I'm looking to service my car myself, but thinking of putting a better panel filter in, instead of the standard vauxhall one.

At the moment it's looking like I may purchase the one from Courtenay Sport, but before I do, what are people's opinions.

    My car is a mk4 1.8 16v sport.

    Cheers

you may not like this ,but the BEST panel filter are made of paper : a genuine GM filter WILL be the best performer and the cheapest
-every motor company knows that and that's why they fit them as std.

It all depends on what you define best as

    best flow?
    best, george?
    best looking?
    best price?
    best supporting actor?
    best fit?
    best quality?
    best sound?
    best filter medium?

With after market ones im not sure if it matters.. piperX, K&N etc. Any after market should be better flow and sound - at least thats what they say.
As long as it stops rubbish being sucked into ur engine and its not made from paper then its job done imo. Go for the cheapest!
