    Angry front bumper

    i caught my irmscher front bumper on a speed bump today and both top mounting points have broke. I have managed to to re mount it with some bigger washers clamping it on but its not as strong as id like.anyone know what options i have to repair it or will i need a new bumper

    went down a kerb i was parked on and the bottom of my bumper hit the speed bump causing the two top wheel arch mounting points to snap off.

    u should only have one bolt in each wheel arch.
    do u mean the ones holding ir front air dam on or the whole front bumper?
    if u can send me pics i will ask my m8 who owns a bodyshop

    its the ones that go in the top part holding whole bumper. ill get some pics tomorrow.

    spoke 2 my m8 and shown him ur pics.
    he said it can be repaired it would invole fibreglasing the top part n rebuilding were the bolt holes go and purching another astra bummper and cutting the side supports off it and fibreglassing and plastic weldding onto ur bumper.
    he said any gd bodyshop should be able 2 do it.
    just ask 2 see pics off there work 1st
    hope this helps u m8 and will teach u not 2 part on a curb.
    i did same with my sideskirt as i split it in 2 when i did same and he fixed it n u would never know it was there unlesss u looked at the behind

    he allso said u can redrill the holes on top and fit bigger washers on side 4 a temp messure
