    What to look for when buying an astra

    Morning all well after a long search i think ive finally found my astra. Its a 53 plate 1.8 sri with 35k on the clocks. i am goin to look at it either today or tomorow just wanting to no what to look out for and is there any majour parts that will need changing soon if they havnt already been done. Aby info you can give me that will make this a smooth rid will help cheers guys.

    Cam belt at 40k I think. That'll be a couple of hundred quid. Worth bartering them down on that point.

    Yep even if that isnt the mileage interval its old enough to need it doing

    ooft a a timing belt isnt hard to do at all 1hour at most
