    Cheap'ish cd player ?

    Hi,

I'm looking for a resonable cd player that won't break the bank as it's for my personal work van. The illumination needs to match my dash (orange), would like a pre-out for a sub and must have an Aux in 3.5mm jack on the front for my ipod.

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks.

    Whats cheapish?

Bare in mind that a facia plate, ISO adaptor or stering wheel controls and aerial adaptor are going to cost you at least £50+

Wish I could fit an after market head unit into the H for £50 and keep the trip computer and steering wheel controls.

    Conect2 Canbus adapter £49

    Single DIN adapter £16/£19

Head unit steering wheel interface patch lead £6

    Powered Arial adapter lead £7/£10

    That's at least £78+.

I did say £50 + and didn't say you had to keep the steering wheel controls.....

Not having a go Putting an after market head unit in Canbus cars/vans these days is no longer a cheep exercise is it? If you don’t purchase all the bits you can loose more than you gain.

Just cost me £107 all in for fitting kit just to put a Double DIN head unit in my Zafira B, that’s half of what the head unit cost.

For everything to work properly you need these, plus a facia kit. There’s no doing it on the cheep if you wish to keep the steering wheel controls and trip computer. You will also need to run a switched live feed from either the black wire on the cigarette lighter socket or the black wire on the back of the heater controls.
