Torx bits - can someone explain?

    Hi,

Need some female torx sockets to get the cambelt changed, not sure what I need though. Thinking of buying a set but need to know how big I need to go really. Think that the crank pulley bolt will be the biggest one, just dont know how big it is!

I am thinking 1/2" drive as I can then use with my torque wrench. Some sets only go up to T18 and some go to T20 or T24? Fairly big price difference tho!

Can anyone tell me what the numbers mean as the sizes seem to be completely different from the male ones?

    Ben

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/e-torx-socket-...d=p3286.c0.m14

This set would easy cover every job you need to do on a astra

    or this one

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/14pc-VAUXHALL-...d=p3286.c0.m14

but with these sets you would need 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 drive ratchets

You'll need sockets. Halfords sell a set, but only in 3/8"
