    Having problems getting my right boost, what to look for? Help needed..

    Still having problems with my z20let..

    Have tried flashing it to phaze 1 and 2 and is the same boost.

    With the actulator connected to the boost controller the boost goes up and down very much and i'm only get about 10psi at 3k rpm, than the boost goes down to 7psi..

    If i pull the hose of the actulator, i get about 13psi at 3500rpm, but it goes down to 10psi with the hose disconnected from the boost controller!!

    Have checked the dumpvalve, and have no boost leaks anywhere..

    Why isn't my turbo boosting very much when disconnecting the actulator??
    Someone did mean that it would be my actulator that's bad, but i can't see why the actulator should be bad sience the turbo don't boost very much when the actulator is disconnected from the boost controller..

    Have no bad sounds from my turbo, and the engine works very great, but don't get my right boost..

    Will be happy for some help!! I will give up soon..!!

    I have the same issue on my car. Basically your turbo is on its way out, so it can't create/hold boost properly...

    could be a crack in manifold right where the waste gate closes so it cant hold boost have seen that a few times

    What's best of getting my turbo overhauled or getting a vxr turbo?
    Seems that many having problems with the vxr turbo..
