grinding at high torque sounds like teeth slipping on gearbox help please

Hi when out last night i noticed an increase in engine noise at first it sounded like the induction kit had got a bit more throaty when bootin it in lower gears. then after an hour or so of drivin went into a more noticable grating noise but it only does it when the car is under high torque.

When setting off in first when the turbo comes in it sounds as it the shaft is slipping like a grating grinding noise same in high revs 2nd gear and if the clutch is dipped in 3rd same noise appears but no noise when you ease off the throttle no matter what speed or gear it is only when the car is under high torque.

Any ideas guys is it time for a new box or something a bit more simple????

Any ideas what it could be ive jacked car up and had a turn of the wheel and box sound ok no nasty clangs from dif or anything, all i could see that looked suspicious was the cv boot on the inner cv was twisted as if the shaft had slipped in the cv is this a possibility or if your cv goes does it go like bang stop no drive????

I'd be starting with the cv joints and checking them over. Alot of people have been getting problems with the cv's tearing the rubber boots causing the grease to fly out and make this sound.

i have looked at the cv and the rubber still looks as it was when it was fitted a few month ago the noise is more of a grind like teeth slipping on the shaft like a metal on metal grate not the whining of the rubber people complane about,
Is it possible for the cv to slip like the cup turn thats in the box but the cv spin and not turn the shaft properly because this is a possibility i think as the rubber looks twisted,

need to get it sorted as it is getting worse!!!!

    thanks
