    Fuel pressure?

    Anyone happen to know what kind of pressure a fuel rail will be under on a 1.4 16v mk4 2001? need to know as I am going to have to block it up in order to do me manifold

    they have a valve on the end of the rail to depressurize the fuel system before doing any work in that area, so unless the car is actually running when you do the manifold then after depressuring the system it will be void of pressure

    Sorry mate I wasn't being clear

    What I am doing is, is fitting a mantzel style powerbox but i'm having to use an X14XE fuel rail, problem is there is a fuel pressure reg valve that I don't need or have on my Z14XE engine, and that needs blocking off, I've removed it, so now there is a hole about 6mm big, just need to block it off, not sure what with as I don't know what kind of pressure the system runs at

    is it copper or steel or something? braze it up? dont think it will run at stupidly high pressures tbh, not to blow a braze anyway
