    lowered astra's??? 40mm all round?

    Anyone had there astra lowered 40mm?
    Looking for some pics?
    possibly before and after?

    ohhh, ive COMPLETELY forgotten the word for those things that cover the screws for the wheels ha. its late. have you got just the standard ones in? as i like them and i have the same alloys, looks better!

    Sorry to highjack the thread. im thinking of lowering mine. im on 18's with 215/35/18 tyres, will lowering it 40mm cause problems? ie: rubbing..... iv rolled the rear arches myself (rubber hammer job lol)

    mines lower 40mm mate, check the bio should be some pics in there before and after

    hmm didn;t think about alloy and tyre sizes
    I've got same alloys as "astrasxicdti", can;t remember tyre numbers, its in my auto-bio somewhere

    If i lowered it 40mm, would it cause rubbing?

    also... what is, rolling out the arches??

    it depends on what engine you have, if its a non turbo/diesel lump if you lower it 40 alround it will look lower at the back than the front,

    when i first lowered mine i did it 50/30 on eibachs on 17s





    but i wanted it lower

    so i went for spax 60/ 40





    sat perfect on 18s and didnt rub atal!
