    plastic wheel nut covers? getting them off

    ive just fitted a set of the plastic wheel nut covers to my car but ive had a thought how do i get them off theres no kind of removal tool in the pack and you cant ger your fingers in to pull them off and i dont want to damage my alloys???????

    help please

    do you have vauxhall locking wheel nuts? if so theres a cylindrical plastic tool in a little box they come in used to take the plastic covers off

    Ah is that what that thing is for, I have always wondered
    I just took the plastic covers of and left them off, I'm not that keen on them anyway.

    I recently bought a set of VW wheel nut covers similar to these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Genuine-VA...d=p3286.c0.m14

    They come with a plasic removal tool which fits into a little ridge on the cover to remove them without having to put any metal pliars etc near your wheels.
