    Interesting, i got out of a 3 mobile contract a couple of years back using the exact same clause.

    If you want to use it send em a letter stating the relevant terms and your reason for cancelling, they'll argue but back down if you take them to county court, what ever you do though don't stop paying as it'll be a nightmare fixing your credit file afterwards, simply put a line in your subsequent letter following their rejection stating that all future payments are made in protest pending resolution of your county court claim and that you will specifically avoid using their roaming services till that point also, easy enough to do.
    N.b. any opinitons expressed above should be ignored and considered 'ramblings', under no circumstances should they be relied upon...

    Im on T-mobile contract (runs out at end of October or November, i think!) With this talk of merging, and other reasons i am going to see if i can get a deal that is alot cheaper with t-mobile (been customers for nearly 10yrs) and see if i can cheapest price with a good bundle!
