    Rear wheel bearing problem.

    Hi guys looks like one of my back wheel bearings has gone as its making a noise when driving really slow, How much roughly should i be paying to get this sorted by a garage please, non vauxhall

    all depending on where you get the bearing from, it should be around £60-£80 for the part and an hours labour.

    I had mine done for 90 quid and that was a front one.

    Non vauxhall garage £110

    And vauxhall £305

    Think ill go with non vauxhall

    I was sure I had a knackerd rear wheel bearing but couldnt find which wheel. However at a recent MOT they said there was a fault with my rear tyres and the tread was lifting from the carcass! You could feel and see the tread blocks were not level. Replacing the tyres cured the problem, I think they were Dunlops.

    I know what buy the £100 tool Kit from halfords an do it your Self ?
    or would you like to pay a garage to do it ?
    its not a hard Job to do on the mk4's

    It will never work again Danny mate if i do it, I am going to get them to have a look where the oil is coming out of my turbo aswell because i cant find it and its doing my head in, The smell is coming in my heaters Ive checked everything i can think off.

    try LMF for the Hub they should have them in cheap like ebay
