    Tar Removal

    Hey all,

Does anyone know of a good prodcut to remove tar?

Had road works round my area a few weeks back and where they have re-layed tar on the road, i now have it splatterd along the bottom and side of my side skirts!

I dont want to rub it too hard when i wash the car incase i cause any damage. I know you can get bug removal sprays and stuff like that, but just need something to help lift the tar without damaging the paint.

    Cheers!

    Clay or autosmart tardis.

both will strip wax so be sure to reapply some it afterwards

i would highly advise agaisnst this. it will eat paint very quickly and will soften it considerably.

I use white spirit, works a treat but you do need to rinse well then wash and polish/wax afterwards
