after a play today my rear drums are going in a skip in place of a rear disk conversion. Basically I need a set of 4 stud rear disks that would fit a mk4. Obviously all mk4s with rear disks are 5 studders which rules a swap from one of them out unless they would fit on my current rear hubs and I get them re-drilled to 4 stud. If this is possible what bits exactly do I need, obviously disks, pads, calipers, hoses buw what caliper carriers do I use and is there anything else Im missing. If thats not doable what other old vaux could I aquire some off?
Ideally I would like to use my current front brakes which are getting swapped to 308s on the rear as a raplacement for the drums but the obvious problem is finding some way to make a handbrake work. It wouldnt be the end of the world if I couldnt use my current disks but would obviously save me a few quid if I could keep my current calipers and use a 256mm rear setup.
Any ideas appreciated as long as they're not stupid
