Mum see's 2 year old son killed

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/c...re/8243728.stm

    Poor, poor woman.

And for the people who start bickering about that she should have been watching him closer obvioulsy don't realise just how quickly these little children can be there one second, and gone the next.

Just such a tragic accident, when she tried to reach him in time, but was just too late

    RIP little Johnny xx

Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!

It's very, very sad and no one should have to go through something like that...

...That said, although it's too late now, I also agree with the above comment. There is absolutely no excuse when it comes to safety and small children, you need to be constantly aware and think about the unthinkable and try to predict everything that could happen. Common sense tells you that railways are dangerous places and the sad fact is that this could easily have been prevented by more awareness and control.

Such a shame that another life has been wasted due to a moment of neglect, in my opinion of course. RIP little guy!

By the way, just so we are clear I am not in any way insinuating that she wanted to kill her child, I'm just saying that in my opinion she didn't do enough to prevent this from happening. She could have had him on reigns, or held his hand, or had him in a push chair, ran over and picked him up, the list of things she could have done to prevent this is pretty much endless.

100% agree. There's no excuse for this.

It's a horrible thing to happen and I'm quite sure she's having very dark dreams.
