Any guides anywhere on how to locate and clean an AFM Sensor, 2000 Astra 1.7td?

As the title suggests, want to clean my MAF sensor as the car is low on power and revs until it warms with a motorway drive. Once it has run don the motorway for 15 mins, the EML comes on and it seems to rev freely
Hope to clean the EGR and MAF today to see if it helps! Any guidance appreciated as I am not mechanically minded.

Have you checked what code is coming up? Not sure if paperclip test will work with a diesel.

Not sure you can clean a maf either, it'll be on your air intake system under the bonnet after the air filter, search for a maf on ebay to get an idea of what one looks like.

Went into Halfords and had a cheeky little look through the Haynes manual. Took the sensor off, blasted it with Carb cleaner, dried it off and then put it back together. Checked and tightened all the hoses around the air box and it has definately improved things!
