    wiring in small air con fans?

    can anyone point me in the right direction to a thread etc describing the wiring in of smaller air con fans?
    i want to ditch my large std fan for 2 smaller ones but dont want to have dash lights etc...
    any help appreciated..
    also wheres best place to buy fans?

    i really am hopless with electrics....so any help would be great....im thinking of 2 9" fans but have read somewhere that theres a sensor/switch on the std fan that needs to be reused?????

    The early engines had a front and rear fan, controlled by the multitimer (relay unit)

    The later engines had a more efficient single fan controlled by the Engine ECU.

    The ECU checks the current goign to the fan, so you'd need a similar current from the 2 smaller fans to prevent the EM light coming up.

    You'd also need to use the same resistor pack from the old fan.

    so how would i go about transfering the resistor pack to the new fans?

    when you take the old unit out on the back youll see a coil type resistor which is connected to the wiring loom basically remove from fan housing etc then connect to neew fan
