Not a very technical word I know I'm afraid, but bear with me please. Very occasionally my engine would hiccup once when accelerating, especially when accelerating hard, it would hiccup a few times. It never hiccups any other time, just when accelerating but only sometimes. The hiccup is very brief, feels like one missed combustion stroke. I'm not worried about it, just curious why it does it. Is it a characteristic of turbo diesels, or just some funny characteristic my engine would do or is it some worn sensor or something?
Thanks very much for your time in advance!
