    Opie Oils Promo Discount Code

    Dear all,

Is there a promo code for Opie Oils?
There is a "astra owner's Network" listed in their discount section. Is it the same or do we have our own "AOC" promo code.

I am looking to purchase Castrol semi-synthetic 10-40 and an oil filter.
They are very competitive in their in pricing. I receive 5% off my first
order and 7.5% on my next order.

    Thank you.
    Many Thanks.

Yes there is, it is in the Member's Discounts Forum, and is only available to AOC Premium Members.

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

    OpieOils- Premium membership

    Thanks Gaz.

Tried looking in the discount section but not clear to me. Apologies. Would you mind explaining what premium membership entails?

    Thank you.

premium membership £15 for a full memebership to AOC, this will give you discount to certain companies. i only joined last month and already have saved a fair bit at Vauxhall on service parts. Opie oils have a bank holiday discount running at this moment, upto 35% off oils etc. all you have to do is register on their website

    Opie Oils

    Thanks Steve.

I understand the full membership (£15) is full at the moment. I contacted Opie and rergistered with them as you suggested. I am now entitled to 10% on all future orders. Great bank holiday discount. 35%.

For those interested, they have 4 service packs (oil and flter) for the 1.6 8v (2003). I selected Castrol 10-40 Magnetec and oil filter, with discount, totalling £29.04. This includes £6.99 postage. Not bad at all.

    Thanks for the info Steve.

That sounds expensive to me. You can pick a 5 ltrs of Fuchs XTR for £15 from your nearest GSF, and then a few more £ for the filter.

You can get 20ltrs of Vaux 10w/40 for £35 on trade club. Dunno how much oil the 1.6 holds, but thats more than enough for 4 oil changes on the LET

Anyone know what the spec of that Vaux oil is (or who actually makes it)?

    Opie oils

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the imteresting comments. I am a bit of a traditionilst, and although there are some good oil producers, I have always been of the opinion what Castrol do not know about oils is not worth knowing. Just a personal opinion. It has always served my previous vauxhalls very well.
I could also get 10-40 oil from local dealers to the trade for about £14 pounds. One actually told me they supply main dealers!!!!!
I am of a similar opinion to p-a. I may be paying more, as suggested by some, but at least I am safe in the knowledge that it does, at the very least, do what it says on the label and more.

Thanks for your interest in my question.
