Changing front discs and pads on a MK4.

Does anyone have any ideas on which pads+discs would be a good choice for me to get? I have a MK4 SRi / 5stud.

No Idea what I have at the moment, my calipers say halfords believe, Im also running 18" alloys.

Bear in mind Im out of work so money is tight at the moment, so cheap is good haha, I need to get them done though as they are going. Backs should be OK for a while.

    Suggestions anyone?

    Cheers

just get standard VX ones unless you want the better stopping power....mind you i dunno the difference in price if there aint a lot get better ones......

also word of warning from past experiance......DONT try undoing the 2 bolts the wrong way as the threads are like paper...i accidently tightened one and stripped the thread...big pain in the arse....just incase you make the same ***** up as me lol

    Would these do the job?

Like 60 odd quid for front disks + pads?

Should be fine bud, A few people on here don't like them for some reason, but I know someone who used to run mintex setup on his 106 Turbo. Had no problems with them at all

If I'm doing that then I'm not going to use my regular Vauxhall garage as last time I went there and tried to use my AOC trade discount they refused it :\

He said to me he wasn't going to honor it, as "what the AOC does is use 1 membership number for all their members"

    EDIT:

Apparently Id be better off putting 308 disks on my car, as someone has pointed out, my disks look a little small behind my 18s :P

Got a price on these if at all anyone?
