Power cable from engine bay to the interior

    Finally answered with photos

To get a Power cable from engine bay to the interior use the rubber gromets found behide the drivers side suspension strut

Here you can see the hole where the rubber gromet has been removed

    Heres a closer look

Interior shot of where it comes out at the other side

    And another close up

but my zaf gsi and astra gsi have a cable going through that grommet and it makes it a damn site harder to get anything through ( had to pierce hole into grommet to get wires through..beside the cable...)

I never knew that the bonnet release goes through there(Mine doesnt as seen in the pictures), I thought it was for the throttle cable on some engines (Earlyer 1.6l or less) thats why its blanked off with a gromet on fly-by wire engines.

That grommets there on the GSi's, the bonnet cable is seperate

Why don't you have the grommet back in the hole?
