    Front Top Mount Plate

I noticed earlier today that my top mount plate for the suspension struts (under the bonnet) dont actually sit flat on the suspension turret. there is .....i spose.. a 1cm gap between them but when i jack the car up they sit flat as tho what looks like they should do.

i dont get any noises or clunking and everything seems fine but there is obviosly this gap where if the car wasnt on the gorund all the time they can move. The top bolt is tight and i just cant get my head round it as like i said everything is tight. I have gaz shocks too if thats any help or makes any difference....

anyone else noticed this or can shed some light ?

    Thanks J

To help with steering, turn the wheel full lock to either the right or the left and you will see one side is flat on the turret look at the metal turret and you will see where the rubber has been rubbing
