    Blue led conversion

    Hey was just wondering when doing the blue led conversion wether doing the light switch bit is possible or not as there's some one on eBay selling one for £50 and didn't know why it was so much money? Or is it just realy fidly or sumin? By the sounds of it hardest parts to do are th speedo and mfd is this right?

    I'm going to change all my dash lights to blue LED's found all the parts for fit yourself or you can buy units pre-built from www.crazyleds.co.uk click vauxhall on left of page then astra mk4.

    Just had a look on crazyleds site and if you buy diy kits it costs £20.22 didn't think that was to bad.

    That Astra G LED dash kit seems rather cheap, no? Think I'll have a kit and have it send to the Netherlands, still cheaper that way

    OddJob supplied me with enough LEDs and resistors to do the whole interior and more for £15...I think he may be away at the moment though as a few have said he's not replied to them.

    Headlight can be done but it isn't as easy as other places as getting the light switch dial to light well requires some extra LED's being soldered in, but it isn't too bad and if I can do it then anyone can. There is a more complicated HowTo on here somewhere (lee gsi I think) where he puts loads of LEDs in and does a cracking job!

    i found Lightec Autostyle on ebay do cheap and easy plug'n'play kits for all things like this.
