Is my turbo on the way out?

Well basically got into my car after work today, on the way home noticed when i put my foot down a little i could here a whistling sound. Never heard this before. When i was at a standstill i revved the engine and there was no whistle, only when im driving? Any ideas? I have searched a few threads but some people have diff signs as to what im having.
    Any info much appreciated.

I had this when on full boost. Then 1 week later one of the boost hoses blew off!!! Refitted and tighened up all the other hoses. All's now well and the noise has gone away

Gonna go back to Red.Dot and get the car checked over....

Def the turbo on its way out by the sounds of it. mine done exactly the same. oil came out of my dump valve to. seals gone on turbo so leaking oil through the pipes. mine only whistled to when i drove foward. it can go just like that like mine did.

check all your boost pipes first, you always wil get some oil in the intercooler pipes as its just normal blow by from the turbo. only if there is over excessive amount there is a problem. if your turbo is on its way out it will sound more like a whine on boost. thats a sign of shot turboshaft bearings.
