    Wheel Vibration

    Hi Everyone,

I have just got my first Vauxhall after 10 years of Fords. I have bought a 2008 Astra SRI. However when Im doing between 70 & 80 MPH I get a hits of vibration through the steering wheel. I have had the wheel ballancing checked but it appears to be fine. I wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

    Regards
    Craig

If you have after market wheels then make sure you have the correct wheel spacers (in the wheel bore).
It could possibly be your tracking, do you get uneven wear on your tread?
You could also have a buckled wheel.

Maybe try replacing the front wheels with the rear to see if that makes a difference.
Your car cannot handle a driver of this magnitude!

You could trying switching the front and rear wheels around. When I've had this problem in the past it's either been due to damaged tyres or balancing.
