Possibly new job abroad - Should I take it?

    Okay....

After about 7 months of being laid off from the city I am 95% certain I 'm gonna be offered a new role..... trouble is its abroad in Malta.

Now My parents live out there and so do 99% of my family, I can talk and understand the lingo and its for a great company..... I have discussed it with my GF who initially was okay with it but now that she can see I may be getting it I think she is getting cold feet.

I'm only planning on staying in the role for about a year and will come back to visit Blighty about 2 times a month.

She will be moving back to her parent's empty house in the country rent free and will have all her old mates around her again.

Just wondered what you all thought I should do??
    Cheers Guys

Go for it mate, it will be great experience and would line you up for better jobs once you finished and in this difficult climate... well nuff said. Ask the mrs if she wants to go with, if not, it will be a good test for your relatonship i.e. can you handle the time apart and still remain faithful?
