    speed camera detection

Do any of you use them? I think mine is coming to the end of working days the buttons keep sticking and I have no idea how to fix it if you can, nonetheless had it for a couple of years.

What are you guys using / recommending now as i might upgrade

I just use my road angel 6000, its a satnav and road angel, tells me all speed camera locations, blackspots, schools, it evens says roughly where camera vans, police traps are normally located

My dad had one of those detector things a couple of years ago, he thought it was useless, so gave it to me after a couple of weeks i sacked it off as well!

Problem was it would go off randomly all the time, Automatic doors, on any other electrical equipment would set it off all the time, meaning it was impossible to trust it to know whether it was a genuine alert or not, so we just lost confidence it in.

We both just use Tom Tom’s now with the speed database loaded, not the official one, there are better ones out there you can find for free if you look hard enough, mine shows all known locations of mobile cameras as well, and is pretty accurate for them as well
