    whoops!!!

I thought I'd sort out the tilt lever on my driver's seat today, as its been playing up recently. There's a silly little bolt that needs constantly tightening up, so the plan was to give it a bit of thread lock and see if that helped.

Whilst I was there I though I'd investigate and odd clunk that you get when you first get in the car.

20 mins later, I've got this...

    I've discovered 2 things today

1 Recaros come apart very easily with tools
2 They really do use a poor choice of materials, especially considering how much these things go for

Anyway, to night I'm making some bits to fix the bust parts

Looks complicated, are they being improved in anyway or just being fixed?

    there's hardy anything to them

The main bit is that curved plastic curved panel at the back on the right. That clips to the metal frame and all 6 clips have broken. Then the foam sticks to the plastic with double sided tape. and the cover goes over the top.

The weird bit is that the headrest can't be removed until last

Bubbba - they are just getting some metal brackets to replace the bust clips.. so it's sort of an improvement/repair

Wait. I think I saw a Sapele door. I did. Stop spending money on your car and change those doors immediately.
