    Angry insignia washer jets

just gone to fit my washer jets when i started having trouble removing one of the washer jets. as i tapped it with a screw driver handle the skuttle panel where the washer jets mounts has cracked. when i removed the old washer jet the skuttle panel now has a hole where the washer jet mounts, so i now need a new panel. my question is does any astra g skuttle panel fit the astra g convertible?

    cheers

i think the "hit the washer with a hard impliment" doesnt work effectively. I started mine and broke my skuttle with my tapping of my screw driver (yet to be replaced), i then removed my wiper arms, then the skuttle and then the tubing.

from here i broke off the old jets water feed pipes and attempted to push the jet up the other way. FAIL, it cracked more.

SO i reckon to do it successfully from the start, remove the skuttle panel, and drown the washer jet sections in wd40 and carefully go from there., you can also see clearly when the skuttle is removed, some clips that really shouldnt be broken that are needed to keep the insignia washer jets in place, when you hit the old jets from above you brake these clips and slight pressure on the new jets with the now broken clips can pop them back out...To do it right and carefully, 30 min job minimum...... just my opinion
