    ESP or no ESP

    How do I know if my car has esp on it ? its a 2002 coupe turbo.

    If you want to know because your fittind a TC switch then it's obvious once you got to connect the wire up to the ecu

    But there is 2 places to put the wire either in the 31 or if the car has esp it would go in pin hole 25.

    Coupes never came with ESP.

    ESP was only on the gsi

    Yes and it's obvious that which one it goes to on your car once the plugs apart (and with a little searching on here!)

    I found out that my coupe had esp after all . So i connected the wire up to the other part of the loom and all works perfect now.

    I read another thread on here and then just tried the cable in the other slot really and hoped for the best.

    I tried to have a look the other day for you to see which one mines plugged into but i didnt really wanna have to take the fuse box out.
